Care Plans & Rebates
Session duration is one hour, which generally includes 50 minutes consultation and 10 minutes to process payments and book any future appointments.
Medicare rebates are available for those with a mental health care plan authorised by their GP. Rebates are available for clients with a Mental Health Care Plan (Better Access) or Enhanced Primary Care (Chronic Disease) plans. On your first appointment you will need to provide a copy of your medical practitioners referral letter and care plan to be eligible for the Medicare rebate.
Medicare rebates are also available for autism assessments and support sessions if referred by a Paediatrician or Psychiatrist. These rebates are available for young people under the age of 25 years.
National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) services are also offered to those who are self managed or plan managed at Young Minds Psychology.
The costs of assessments and reports vary depending on the needs of a young person and the number of sessions required. For more information please contact us via phone or email.
